Hi! I'm Tyler. My life, bedsides school, is baseball, baseball, a little bit of golf, and some more baseball. I play for a travel baseball team called the Force, and I look forward to playing for my high school this spring. My topic is going to be "Tommy John" surgery. I want to know about it because I was really close to having to get a similar surgery myself. Being a pitcher and a 3rd Baseman requires a lot of throwing. I had to learn the hard way that throwing with all arm and no legs would eventually mess up my arm. Luckily, I didn't have to end up getting the surgery, but I had to go through a lot of physical therapy, and once I was done with PT, I learned the right way to throw, using upper and lower body. So, learning about this topic is not only interesting to me, it will help me as i continue to pitch to prevent having to deal with this again.
Anyways, a little bit about my life at home. I live with my mom, dad, big brother, dog, cat, and my 3 year old niece. I'm really not at home much because I'm usually on the road to baseball, or at baseball. I used to play basketball and football, but don't anymore because I want baseball to be my main focus. I'm a very optimistic person. I've been like that for, pretty much, my whole life :). My dream is to play baseball for Vanderbilt University.
My purpose for making this blog/website is to, not only learn about this myself, but maybe help any other pitchers out there that might not even know about this. Well, if you're still reading to this point, thank you for reading about my life/myself. Keep up with my blog if you're interested in this subject! Thanks!
